Music 15,215
it is clear that Gaga's tribute performance has provided some mixed reactions and opinions at this year's Grammys - many labelling her a "terrible choice" for the tribute and "almost mocking to the legend himself". after a massive inflow of support for her rendition of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, and recent positive image upheld by the media, are you finding it difficult reading negative comments about Gaga? it seems almost inevitable that negative comments were going to be made, but saying that she was "nothing more than a disrespectful parody of Bowie" seems a bit far-fetched and uncalled for. we all know how important this performance meant to her, and viewing comments (in complete contrast to last week) about the tribute saying that she shouldn't have even been considered to honour him is kind of heart wrenching. we have experienced worse times being fans (2013/2014) but, i think it is more difficult now since she was on such clean terms in the public's eye. nevertheless, are you finding it more difficult to read these highly opinionated comments, especially after such support and positivity recently? discuss below.. JustPokeHerFace 2,564
I don't find it hard because (1) Gaga is a public figure, and criticism comes with the territory, and (2) she'll change their fickle minds when she performs at the Oscars later this month. But I'm a fan of Miley, having everyone destroy my fave over tiny things is nothing new Human generated art
RAMROD 109,437
Stop this lies. GP love the Bowie tribute, take a look around. SMH. They FINALLY SEE that she is the real deal.

Jesse Pinkman 4,660
Lol. If you can survive ARTPOP, you can survive anything. This is nothing compared to some drags I've seen about Gaga from the GP and stans alike. Everyone has an opinion, I doubt this one performance is going to alter her career in a negative way. We can't expect for her to be praised over everything. A few negative tweets are not going to alter her career at all. Plus, I am seeing a lot of positive feedback. It's science, bitch

Fiona Apple 13,006
Didn't actually see any negativity from the media or in the comments?
miju 375
I just think that those comments are kind of uncalled for. Like I've seen YouTube comments (ok I know that the worst people comment on YouTube vids) saying that her performance was terrible and karaoke at best. it had a lot going on but gaga served great vocals and had great costumes. like I could understand some people who might say it was a little underwhelming, but it was far from a bad performance. doseofamnesia. tumblr. com
jojo Freud 653
She is a public figure, she will get criticism no matter what she does. She got criticism for the national anthem as well. Some people just have set opinions of other people and that won't change. Plus with the david bowie tribute, you're dealing with another public figure with many fans, some fans will be impressed by the choice others not so much, nothing we can do about it. Chris Evans 8,917
It's only been Bowie "fans" who weren't happy with anyone making a tribute anyways
badgalriri 1,124
I've seen pretty much nothing but negative comments. performance was pretty sleep worthy. WAY over hyped by intel / gaga / and the grammys and pretty much all media outlets. however it wasn't... bad i guess. however i would rank that among one of her worst performances just in the fact that there was literally nothing to it. it was a bland tribute. that was it. the grammys were bad this year
