For your info, it was a David Bowie tribute. The 'granny moves' and wig you mentioned were all to resemble David Bowie. It's funny how people criticize Gaga when those weren't even her creations, it was DAVID's creations. From that performance, you can tell she'd put a lot of effort into studying Bowie's performing tactics and trying to execute them to bring us nothing about Gaga but everything about Bowie. That was an utmost professional and respectful attitude she was holding.

I think one of the reasons why some Gaga fans are unsatisfied with the tribute performance is because she was singing rock/David's music. It's not what Gaga created and she could only sing whatever that was left to her by David. She couldn't wear whatever she wanted, she couldn't design the choreography however she wanted, she HAD a formula to follow and that was given by David.

I actually felt as if Gaga never attended the show after everything today. She appeared as Bowie, she sang as Bowie, she danced as Bowie, she WAS Bowie. I was so unfamiliar with her throughout this Grammy appearance.

The performance really did feel unlike gaga. the way she carried yourself throughout the entire performance was very unlike her. The entire night she devoted herself to her idol in every aspect.

I sometimes wonder why some people even sign up on here. Yeah you don't have to like it but what, did you want her to fly and invent teleportation last night? :air:

I'm far from convinced it's not over. I feel like they would announce that it was a larger partnership if it was. There is no reason to keep it a secret.

not dragging it, it's just a standard tribute performance. Nothing compared to what they prepared us for, and maybe they weren't preparing us for that and that only.

This tbh. People need to see it as the tribute it was meant to be. I feel like they should have done the Bowie tribute and the Intel collaboration separately, and they probably could have, but they didn't foresee Rihanna canceling and all that mess.

The intel stuff was alright, but it didn't really impress me. Gaga's stage presence did. She literally became Bowie.

Edit: I'm a little upset that a lot of the criticism stems from the overhype from Intel and the "Gaga is not pretty, she looks ugly and dances funny" mess. It's beyond vain.
