I wonder WHO'S idea it was to hype the performance to that extent.. It didn't live up to the hype surrounding the technology/innovation that was heavily promoted during the weeks leading up to the performance.

Anyhow, the performance when you remove the bullsh*t hype that was thrown behind it was amazing. She's such a chameleon.. her passion and love for Bowie's artistry was at the forefront of this performance; it almost felt like I wasn't watching Gaga perform. Brilliant vocals, rockstar energy. I loved the 'Fashion' & 'Fame' segments. The space visuals at the end during WCBH were really, really cool. She did him justice!

Wish it was longer. Like the Grammys couldn't have allocated more time for the tribute!!

I felt like they could've done more with the rings she was wearing. The screen in the back is responsive to her waving her hands around with the ring. (Its essentially Playstation 3 Move controllers except rings). They show it off a bit more in a video on Intell's twitter and it looks cool but I kind of feel like it did relatively nothing during the performance except maybe a bit towards the very end.

This is why Gaga gets to be annoying at times. She gets too preachy and pretentious and hypes things into oblivion which inevitably ends up disappointing fans and the GP.

She needs to learn to just shut up at times and let her talent speak for itself.

No one actually gives a damn about how a computer chip is supposed to enhance a performance, I'm sure she was well compensated for the tie-in however. The purpose of that commercial was to get Intels name stuck in your head. It worked! Expecting something fantastic now is foolish. Faster computer technology is not any sort of revolution. This was advertising for Intel supported on the back of a tribute performance to a dead man.

Gaga didn't hype the technology though - Intel did. And I don't know what many of you guys were expecting but of course Intel would hype their part of the collaboration. They probably spent a ****-ton of money on it and in the end they're a business, not a charity. They have to promote their brand.

And if you ask me Intel did a marvelous job at keeping it classy, rather than pressing their company onto a performance that shouldn't be about them or Gaga in the first place.

In an Intel commercial, that was obviously shot before the performance became a tribute.

So...what actually changed? Now we know how to project a spider on someone's face?
