I can't blame him. I totally understand why Bowie wasn't much of a fan of Gaga and if someone my father didn't really like paid tribute to him I too would be uneasy about it.

The performance looked good but you can't expect everyone (especially those close to him) to just eat it up.

He tweeted it at 10:37 EST after the performance was over

These pathetic lady gaga fans calling Duncan a no life cockroach are just sad.

Considering he won the BAFTA award for his first movie, no life cockroach is way off base.  And he is a sweet, unassuming guy, who is extremely talented.

Only if you're purposely trying to poke holes in semantics? He is still entitled to an opinion before and after the performance.

He is of course, but if he tweeted before it cannot mean he didn't like it. Maybe it wasn't even a shade.

Bowie and Gaga were never close and she didn't have a relationship with his family. This isn't shocking at all.

It's science, bitch

You guys need to calm down and not see automatic shade in everything. This tweet is just the definition of the word "gaga". We don't know for sure what he meant by tweeting it.

Exactly, it's like these lady gaga fans are always prepared to jump on anybody who has a negative opinion on Lady Gaga. It's hysterical to witness though :smh:

This as well. I don't think y'all should be attacking or him or calling him a worthless cockroach, like come on. Damn.

Before or after the performance, my post still makes sense?

Why are people so butthurt over one person's opinion who actually knew the guy? :air:

He has the right to his own opinion of course, but...

Discrediting someone's hard work and efforts to publicly honor/respect your late father mere MINUTES after the tribute is really, REALLY low and undermines the whole intent of the Grammys having a tribute to Bowie.

How is this Shade? He acknowledged Gaga instead of his Father. It's the ultimate Praise.

I'll lift you 3 inches off the ground and drag you to a meter and a half
