I totally understand why Bowie wasn't much of a fan of Gaga and if someone my father didn't really like paid tribute to him I too would be uneasy about it. The performance looked good but you can't expect everyone (especially those close to him) to just eat it up. Considering he won the BAFTA award for his first movie, no life cockroach is way off base. And he is a sweet, unassuming guy, who is extremely talented. . He is still entitled to an opinion before and after the performance. He is of course, but if he tweeted before it cannot mean he didn't like it. Maybe it wasn't even a shade. Jesse Pinkman 4,660
Bowie and Gaga were never close and she didn't have a relationship with his family. This isn't shocking at all. It's science, bitch
Frankenztein 1,172
You guys need to calm down and not see automatic shade in everything. This tweet is just the definition of the word "gaga". We don't know for sure what he meant by tweeting it.

Gatlyn 1,330
He has the right to his own opinion of course, but... Discrediting someone's hard work and efforts to publicly honor/respect your late father mere MINUTES after the tribute is really, REALLY low and undermines the whole intent of the Grammys having a tribute to Bowie. VOLANTIS 16,406
How is this Shade? He acknowledged Gaga instead of his Father. It's the ultimate Praise. I'll lift you 3 inches off the ground and drag you to a meter and a half
