MindVomiting 303 Posted February 16, 2016 Share Posted February 16, 2016 so taylor won aoty award. i can not belive it still and im fcking pissed. still i made this thread to let everybody who is a taylor fan or who likes her know yes she won the award for a album with decent meaningless uninventional basic popsongs. meanwhile kendrick wrote several albums that ARE actually meaningfull and speak about real life/world problems that everybody can relate to. he also tells us his life stories what he has gone through and when i listen to him it really cures my soul and makes me feel better. But that doesn't mean Kendrick didn't work hard for his album either. The AOTY award is given to: "honor artistic achievement, technical proficiency and overall excellence in the recording industry, without regard to album sales or chart position". I think I know which one best fits that bill and I'm still yet to hear any real valid reasons that 1989 deserves it more. Or a reason that any other album last year deserves it more than Kendrick, it isn't even about the fact Taylor won. It's the fact that Kendrick didn't.
