PinkJelly 1,769
I said it in another thread, that Intel's face mapping technology isn't new or revolutionary. Yes, the first time it's been used in a live stage performance, but I saw the video below months ago which shows much more of an interesting application of the tech
Phoenix 17,395
I wasn't blown away by the technology, but I know that there is plenty of stuff behind the scenes that is amazing. I loved the projection and that moving mic/piano thing is awesome tbh, she should include it in her next tour. But Gaga's performance did blow me away 💎
Bloody 64,631
I expected something innovating as they said but I don't think I was blown away. Her energy was the best though, she was on fire.
Pacify Him 9,073
Well, at least it wasn't all false advertising. They just didn't show how Gaga entered the cube before she was shown on a bigger screen I’m getting on your nerves
giskardsb 12,565
CBS's camera crews did essentially everything wrong in trying to project the effects to the TV audience.
CatelynnMarie 4,406
I mentioned this in another thread, but I think there was a lot of disappointment with Intel's part in the collab. They seemed to REALLY hype the performance and kind of gave off this idea that they were going to present some new, cutting edge, never before seen/ unheard of technology that would blow everyone's mind. At least that's kind of the vibe that I got from the commercials and such for the performance. The technology used WAS cool and WAS entertaining, but it was lackluster in the form of what they were hyping. I just wish they didn't give off this, "Brand new invention in technology" vibe/hype. Is it a breakthrough? To some extent yes. Is it new? No. Not at all. I really do love the performance, and as always, Gaga is the one to make the performance completely jaw droppingly good, but on the tech side I myself am a bit disappointed. Eulonzo 51
I don't know about 'blew me away', but I was extremely impressed. Especially the transformations, that was so awesome. It took me a couple watches to notice how they did it, with the dots/sensors on her face.
