The original performance, that the commercials were about, was scrapped in place of the David Bowie tribute 2. There would have been incredibly cool, technology-infused clothing that was scrapped in place of Bowie outfits 3. They must have changed all the effects used throughout the show last minute to suit a Bowie theme 4. Gaga would have wanted the performace to really highlight Bowie's career without making it all about herself 5. Because of this she was performing like him and not herself so it changed the whole feel of the show, and to be more tasteful 6. Because at the end of the day, this was changed to be a David Bowie tribute, paying homage to an artist who meant so much to so many people, and the music industry, NOT a Gaga performance. She was just the one who had the honour of paying homage to him and his career. So please just try to keep in mind that things changed a LOT, and very last minute, and that it was important to Gaga not just on a personal level, but in regards to how the GP view her, that she did the performance tastefully, truly honoured him, and just generally made a good performance. The Intel side of things got pushed back a little. BUT, that being said, to those who weren't hyped and who were expected a Bowie tribute, it was incredibly well done and extremely impressive. The GP at least will be grateful to her for doing such a good job and impressing them with the technology they did still utilise. (and I thought what they used was still very impressive! I didn't sleep for this performance, and I was overhyped too much like we are were. They showed us videos of her floating into a cube and it looked just amazing. BUT WHERE ARE THOSE NOW?
