Remember she performed at the 2015 European Games, and Europeans see all of her headlines and performances. I think she'll be fine.

lol no one watched that. The most news that surrounded the European Games was whether or not the medals are worth something.

Europe is difficult to say, the problem is there is that media attention quite often does not equate into sales. I think Gaga is getting too old to rely on just a fanbase to push her singles into the top 10 (a la One Direction) so she will need to get back into the public eye with a song to push. She hasn't been forgotten for sure, but she hasn't been seen as an impressive hit maker since probably TEOG failed to live up to its potential

But looking at iTunes across Europe, I see many many many manyyyyyyyy American acts doing well and I know they aren't promoting that heavy. Notably Justin Bieber.

Im not saying you're wrong, but I do think American acts are still largely global by default

Justin is Canadian :green:

On the BB100 Zayn (UK) is currently #1, followed by Justin (Canadian),  Twenty One Pilots (US) and Adele (UK).

All I'm saying is that America doesn't determine what is a hit or not anymore.  Proper promotion needs to be done in all major markets to achieve maximum commercial success.

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

In Europe they are buying every ticket for every international singer that comes to their country... if Lenny Kravitz sold out in my city.. so Gaga is fine..

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Idk I think a big music video would be enough tbh lol but I'm sure she will promote worldwide anyway since she's a hustla

I hope she will make promo in Austria!

All of her albums did good here and there never was much negativity/backlash !

Even tho I would have liked it if she performed with C2C tour to show of her vocals I'm optimistic about her being here again with the next tour

I live in Italy and I assure you that she has a LOT of fans here, like in the rest of Europe, BUT her image is not seen as well as in the usa, because like nobody sees neither the Oscars nor the Super Bowl, 2 of her last appearances that I consider to be the most representative of her "new" image (well, new for the rest of the world, we fans always believed in her :sara:).

So lot of people don't even consider her as a real artist (:rip:) , while I read that like in the usa more and more people are beginning to appreciate her. I personally think she should do some very important appearance also here in Europe, like at the Eurovision song contest or something like that

I live in Europe,Eastern Europe to be precised. When she sang the anthem she was mentioned in a lot of our news,so that is at least something. When "Till it happens to you" was out  people actually started to like her even more.So i am not really  worried about Europe tbh

Until then, this is Elvira saying unpleasant dreams.

Is she still unpopular in European countries that have strong Catholic influence such as Poland and Croatia? Curious to know. :duck:

PL here, I can't say people don't know her, but I haven't seen anything about her getting a Golden Globe or performing at the Super Bowl on tv.. And then there are also people who think that she worships Lucifer ?

At least here in CH, Gaga is quite often in the press. Last time I saw her was in the biggest daily newspaper concerning the Oscar nominee lunch

Sometimes it feels like I've got a war in my mind, I wanna get off but I keep riding the ride

What about the BAKU performance???

Barely any Europeans consider Azerbaijan European. Even fewer are interested in/know about the European Games. The performance was well received but I doubt many people remember it.

This is actually a major worry of mine. I have no doubt that LG5 will take off in America, but not so sure about the UK. She's not the name she once was. She'll have to do something, but I'm not sure what.

It all depends on the release of the album / single. If it's May time, then she should perform on BGT - that'll up the sales somewhat. If it's more imminent, there's always The Voice... but I kinda think Gaga is too big for them, anyways. That's the least relevant show in the UK. Messy programme.

I think we'll always have a special place in our hearts for Gaga, I mean she did 11 dates in the UK for ARTPOP :flutter: 3 of those in London! :yay:

I think she only needs to visit Anglophone markets and Japan for promo. Mainland Europe, SKorea, NZ, Canada, Brazil and Mexico are followers. Only really need some promo for the tour, other than that promoting in Europe wouldn't be financially responsable. Perhaps some interviews for positive press, but the rest of the world also follows the US and UK when it comes to media.
