What about Europe?

The music markets are so global now. If her lead single rockets to #1 on US charts and goes racing to 1 billion views, I can assure you Europe will be ok

I'm worried about Germany. It's a huge music market and they only barley knew about Applause. Even though the artRave was sold out, I am still not sure how aware the GP will be.

Do What U Want was kind of huge here, but Applause totally lost against Roar :rip:

I would be here for her to be the interval act

Spoiler

I hoped it for 2011 when the host broadcaster teased a big star for the act but it was just Jan Delay :rip:

I think enough attention trickles around the globe as long as she gets America on her side. She will probably do a European press tour later on to remind everyone she's around, and to talk about her success in America and get everyone looking. We live in a time now where all her performances are a click away. If she gets on the press train and mentioned the national anthem/Bowie tribute/Oscars/everything else, people will Google it. And she had that whole most Googled since 2011 thing recently didn't she? There was a HUGE spike in her name being Google a couple weeks ago. I wouldn't be too concerned :P  word will spread. Especially after the performance tomorrow. People all around the world watch the Grammys, and know of David Bowie's music, and of his passing... it's something that all age groups and nationalities will pay attention too, and this one will possible make headlines :P

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Well considering that Blank Space barely made it into top 10 in Germany :air:

In Germany american artists are that successful here anymore as they used to be.

Europe is fine, they saw her performance at the Super Bowl, they also heard about her performance at the Oscars.

But she'll be fine honestly, Europe just follow US, like Americans, Europeans love stars who make their "come back" (even though Gaga never left).

Disagreed. Depending on the country. Germany is not so US-centric anymore

I'm not sure what you're worried about to be honest :P

She doesn't have to have worldwide success in every single country, in fact I don't think she's even planning world domination like that anyway. And she'll never skip your country on tour! She didn't come to New Zealand last time because there wasn't enough of a reason to... at least that won't happen to you :P

I hope she puts more promotional effort in Europe, Asia and Australia this time. The Born This Way era was so successful because she didn't rush into touring before slowly visiting countries and perform on local TV shows.

She went to Germany, France, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, India, Australia for one single era :applause:

ARTPOP could have sold much more if she did the same for it as she did for Born This Way. I know it's a lot of countries to visit but I think she can handle it. Just do it slowly and not enjoy the process.

Europe doesn't care about the US that much honestly.

Here in Holland Gaga has been pretty much off the radar for a loooong time. Think the last big hit people remember it BTW, and if you remind them of Applause it will ring a bell. Artrave didn't sell out a 17.000 seat venue while Beyonce just sold out a 50.000 seat venue in minutes. Gaga is basically forgotten about.

The C2C era went by quietly, jazz isn't a huge thing here like in the states. She did no real tv promo for ARTPOP in Europe.

The Oscars caused a wave, but the impact of events like that isn't as big as in the US. Nobody cared about the Super Bowl, nobody knows about the Grammy tribute. It's not even aired on tv here. The only way she can reach more people is when she's talked about on big talkshows like RTL Late Night or DWDD, but after Superbowl all they talked about was Beyonce.

She should perform at the Mtv Ema's and here on the Voice or at Late night.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

Katharine Hepburn

If the music is good she'll be fine. Europe is more forgiving of antics
