I live in country bfe in the Midwest, and I pretty much go out every weekend. Our bars don't really play Gaga....ever.

I heard Just Dance and.....get this.........Starstruck on Friday night.

I heard Just Dance and Bad Romance Saturday night.

My republican friends were also talking about Beyonce at the Superbowl and how much they hated her, but then said "I don't know why they didn't just have Lady Gaga do the whole thing", and "is she coming out with new music soon?" and that Gaga was "classy in a weird way".

I also have noticed in general this past month that radio has been playing her throwbacks Alot. Where I used to hear her once a month I feel like in the past four weeks I've heard almost all of her singles playing at least once and especially Poker Face, Bad Romance, Just Dance, and Applause probably like 3X each.

"Starstruck" --- yyyaasssss!!!!

I grew up in the midwest (in the country) and moved away about 5 years ago, so I can completely relate to this post!! This is awesome!! :nick:

You know things are going exceptionally well when Republicans are waiting for Gaga to release new music :air:

Yaaas....I feel like European/East/West coast doesn't understand how big of a deal it is that even small Midwest towns are picking up on "the Gaga trend".

I was at my dentist's office when Bad Romance came on the radio, then I was at this huge shopping mall the next day when they blasted Alejandro and minutes after I got in my car they played Applause on the radio. :flutter:

Not to mention they show Gaga every 30 minutes on E! channel with the latest news on Superbowl, Grammys etc. and also play her music videos on VH1.

I was in a mall when I passed by a karaoke centre and guess what I saw? (They got the song wrong though, it's only the music video)

You all are so lucky. :crossed: I haven't heard Gaga on the radio since I listened specifically for TIHTY last week until I finally heard it. Other than that, one of my station's current ads mentions Gaga and plays a brief bit of Poker Face (but shouldn't they have used Applause since they played Sugar for Maroon 5's mention?). No station around here plays Applause anymore, but I check playlist histories and I do see plenty of Poker Face, Bad Romance, and Paparazzi.

I can't even remember the last time I heard Gaga in a store or anything, either. It's not very fair because radio still loves to play songs that came out around the same time Applause did. All the stations here still play Avicii's Wake Me Up, Ellie Goulding's Burn, and American Authors' Best Day of My Life like three times a day. I was at a show a few weeks ago and they played music before the show and between acts. The very first song they played was Dark Horse and they played a whole bunch of 2013-14 songs but no Gaga. :noparty:

Has anyone ever heard Gaga songs in a big-box store like Walmart or Target? I haven't, but one of my friends once said he heard Applause in a Walmart back in 2014.

Hmmm she's played quite regularly on normal (mostly not BBC radio 1) radio stations over here.

I've asked for her in clubs many times, the DJs are normally like yeah cool but ignore the song I ask for and just put Just Dance or Poker face on, except this one time when we asked for Born This Way. Like, even asking for Bad Romance or Telephone is hard, most DJs over here think you can only play current house and cheesy stuff like Peter Andre to keep people dancing but they don't realise that everyone  loves hearing stuff they know and you'd be shocked how many people like a bit of Gaga now and again.

I downloaded iheart radio and listened to a few morning talkshows from monday morning after the superbowl (under the podcast section). All of them talked about how good she was. Some even played a clip of her singing.

I hear Bad Romance a lot on my local radio station, but I don't think that counts as they only play the same eight songs over and over again. :laughga:

I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!

There's a huge mall in my town which has been playing dwuw from i don't know how long. I sometimes just roam around there waiting for the speakers to start that catchy opening. And thinking to myself "dance you pheasants, Gaga is on the radio":derpga:

There's another incident when boys boys boys was played in a multiplex, and i was freaking. The movie was " the intern ", so maybe they were targeting the vulnerable gay demographic. :laughga:
