Some of you are so f*cking disrespectful.

He might have disapproved of our lifestyles, but he still has an extremely large family of nice people that I grew up around and they are devastated.

What's worse is that the little bottom mods aren't going to give any of you warning points for mocking a dead man whose body is still warm. Class act.

While you all bow your heads in respectful silence remember that this was a man who never wasted an opportunity to compare homosexuals to child molesters. If it were up to him 98.9% of Lady Gaga's fan base would be in jail.

The next **** you suck dedicate to the memory of that bloated toad.

Again you prove to everyone here that you are the scum of this forum.

Just going to quote someone.

"As Bette Davis said when told not to speak ill of the dead, "just because someone is dead does not mean they have changed." Good riddance."

Condolences to his family for the loss though.

Love this :hor: she is the queen of quotes

Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.

I'm sorry but some of you are doing TOO MUCH.

You may be happy about the political implications as the result of this man's death but some of the stuff I'm reading on here isn't very 'progressive' .....

He was a SC justice. Yes, many of us probably didn't agree with his opinions and actions, however, it's not like he was Osama Bin Laden or something :wtf:

This is when politics goes too far.

If Trump were to drop dead rn even though I absolutely think he is garbage I would not say some of the things you guys are saying.

You may think these people are awful but they have families who love them. Save the politics for later. The Republican response to his death has been absolutely disgusting as well.

I'm not saying you must feel sympathetic for this guy but at least have the common decency to stfu if you have nothing nice to say.

So I shouldn't be concerned about the future well-being of the 300-million-person nation to the south? :saladga:

you should be concerned if you had a power over it. Unless you move there and become a citizen and vote for whatever Republican candidate you currently "support", and practice your right to bear arms in a state that has the "freedom" that you seek, your hopes and wishes are just a whisper in a hurricane.

I have nothing more to add.

So in other words, you are not concerned with any goings-on outside your small municipal bubble.

Well, whatever works for you. I suppose I'm more of an international citizen.

Not really, I'm concerned with Scalia's death and the related political and legal implications, you are apparently not—which of us belongs in this thread? :emma:

I don't really mind the death of a conservative American that made some terrible comments about gays and encouraged homophobic policies, really.

If anything it will bring a liberal, progressive, even SOCIALIST if possible, head to SCOTUS.

But tbh, it won't make any difference in my life, BECAUSE I DON'T LIVE THERE.

Why do people think that someone dying means we should ignore all the bad stuff they did/stood for while alive?  He didn't respect us while he was alive so what's the point in respecting him just because he's dead now?  There isn't one; he did nothing to earn our respect so we have the right not respect him.
