SlayGagaloo 16,152
Oh, about Wikipedia. The best-selling music artists of all time page: Gaga's numbers are still 100 million although it's reported that she had sold more than 173 million records. Why isn't it fixed? Over. Because of the amount of records that she has certified. For artists that debuted recently (2005 or later), certifications have to match up with at least 75% of the claimed sales. So in order for her to claim 173 million record sold on that page, she would have to have 129.75 certified. And because she's missing so many certifications in the US, that number can't be updated on the page yet. That may chance once LG5's era kicks off. Edit: She's missing 53 million in certifications. With the new RIAA streaming rules, if she updated her stats, she would probably be at the needed number.
Bebe 17,067
I'd be sure to mention how her fashion influenced her contemporaries. I might talk about how the likes of Katy, Nicki, Rihanna, Xtina were compared to Gaga. Gaga also wrote for Britney Spears, The Pussycat Dolls and J-Lo. I'd talk about how Iggy/Rita Ora's music video was compared to Telephone. I'd talk about Miley Cyrus' current fashion and how that compares to Gaga. Other than who she has inspired I think there is room for more discussion in her legacy: I'd also make it clear that Gaga was influential in making dance-pop/electronic music popular:http://www.mtv.com/news/1634676/lady-gaga-has-made-dance-music-mainstream-dj-tommie-sunshine-says/ http://www.mtv.com/news/1675841/lady-gaga-edm/ I'd also some of the praise she has received from the likes of KISS, Tony Bennett and Elton John among other legends. I'd include that Jeff Koons made a sculpture of her and that she collaborated with Robert Wilson for an exhibition in The Louvre. I'd mention her LGBT advocacy, that BTW was the first song in the US charts to use the word Transgendered, her Born This Way foundation. I might even mention that Gaga saved Versace from Bankruptcy, that she was the face of Mugler when it was revived by her then current stylist Nicola Formichetti, that Brandon Maxwell had his own fashion line. I'd talk about her Meat Dress, how it's in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It also has it's own Wiki page which might be helpful: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lady_Gaga%27s_meat_dress#Influence How the likes of TIME (http://entertainment.time.com/2011/07/28/the-30-all-time-best-music-videos/slide/lady-gaga-bad-romance-2009/) and Billboard among others (http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/468680/the-10-best-00s-music-videos-poll-results) consider Bad Romance one of the most iconic music videos. I'd talk about Rolling Stone naming her Queen of Pop: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/introducing-the-queen-of-pop-20110629 and TIME calling her Queen of Pop: http://time100.time.com/2013/04/18/ten-years-of-influence/

Yes even some of her biggest hits (born this way, telephone...) are apparently not certified yet!! Over.
