I miss the days when Gaga was "flopping" and monsters were forced to reluctantly preach "music not the bling" and pretend to be satisfied :green: It seems like we're back to expecting too much in terms of commercial success...

It's about music and the bling this time for LG5.

There are pros and cons to both sides, I guess.

It is kind of ****ed up that fans like us were on here everyday 2012-2014 still supporting her, and now GagaDaily's numbers are spiking again because of bandwagon monsters. But...hey....at least we know about those tiny important eras. Those eras like when "Yaaaaaaaaaaaaas" was invented on this site and became a thing that all fanbases use now. That's all for us to remember.

Perhaps though, it is even better. Because it feels more important to us loyal monsters who got to see Gaga rise back up to the top for a second time, when no one else believed us.

Stay positive monster.  We knew her at all her points. And that's a good feeling.

This is a HURRICANE snatching weaves in its wake.

No wonder Beyonce's new video takes place post-Katrina.

Considering Kesha's legal battle is next week... She could have a song ready to release (and block Gaga) if she wins. Lol

When We Were Young not picking up? It's currently at #16 on iTunes and #10 on Radio and it doesn't even have a music video yet.

It's been playing on pop radio for 14 weeks now (despite being officially released) and been on the Billboard Hot 100 for 11 weeks. It peaked at #22 a few weeks ago, but has staggered down to #29. I don't think it's going to pick up to some high level. It might, with a video (if that happens, it seems Adele isn't doing that) to be a top ten. But not any competition to a brand new Lady Gaga/Red One lead single at this time.

Especially considering every one on the English speaking world has 25. The ironic compromise of Adele selling boatloads of albums is that none of her other songs will chart that high because people already have them.

Rihanna- singles that are going to appeal mostly to urban formats

Beyonce- might just follow the same trend as Rihanna, but we don't know yet.

Katy- album coming out this year

Adele- Second single is doing great without promo or video, just wait until after the Grammy performance and video release. Plus, the album is still selling 100K each week.

Bieber- still has momentum and more singles

You forgot Bruno and Taylor, possibly JT. Ed Sheeran is set for the fall, I think.

There will always be competition.

Bieber is going on tour. Singles always slide down hill after that. Not to mention he has already released music videos for every song on his album, so there is no new hype around a video to get him streaming points.

Katy JUST STATED she is NOT releasing an album until spring 2018. That wasn't a joke I made. And anyways, even if she did surprise us, I doubt it will pop off the way Prism did. People are getting sick of her Disney tunes.

Adele- I don't know what it is, but I just don't feel like WWWY is a number one. It's already gotten plenty of exposure on the radio and it's just not picking up. I think she'd have a better chance with another hit if she made "Send My Love" or "All I Ask" as a new single. But even regardless of that, the fact that people have bought that album in droves actually will make it impossible for a second number one....everyone already owns the music. Why re-buy it?

Taylor is an absolute no anytime soon. She is still releasing 1989 singles. It would be completely ridiculous for her to bring an entire new album out. People were already starting to get annoyed with her months ago and Bad Blood only went number one because she completely revamped the single, blew it up with celebrities, and oversized herself.

JT and Ed Sheeran: really? That's very up in the air and a reach. Not to mention that Ed Sheeran is completely different than Gaga and in no way competition.

Lastly: Bruno, this is the only one I forgot and slightly agree on as a possible threat, barely. But I think he will release later on, and I think considering he is from Interscope the label will do everything they can to ensure Bruno and Gaga, their two biggest artists, will not collide with each other.
