If he is using his opinion as a measure of who is a true artist then using the opinions of people whose jobs and specializations is reviewing music is just as valid and those opinions coalesces into a higher average score for Kanye than Gaga's. Personality and decency shouldnt be factors to judge a people's work in my opinion, you're judging work not which Miss USA candidate should win Miss Congeniality. Coherence is relevant and what i have heard and watched of Kanye's work is at the very least as coherent as Gaga's, probably more. I'm not dragging Gaga btw, but the ARTPOP era will remain as a stain in Gaga's artistic integrity in my eyes forever, a stain that hopefully her upcoming work will overshadow to the point of irrelevancy though. Note, I'm not trying to drag Gaga per se, but i dont feel that that dragging Kanye for lack of artistry isnt fair, so I just telling things as i percieve them and as i feel them. Kanye is an ass, that doesnt make his work any less good. Same as Azealia Banks. Regarding your previous point, yes you have a Beatle and a newcommer. Idk Tinashe, but i assume that at most she has released two albums, which i assume were quite solid if her score is that high, versus a man who has X number of albums and whose career spans 40-50 years and who understandable may have had highs and lows. That's not a good comparison. Going back to the point of the thread, ultimately i believe that making a videogame as a tribute is just as valid as paying tribute to her in any other media. Videogames are an underrated art form. If his tribute is percieved as exploiting her death because it will be sold, then most of art-makers would be guilty of that, Gaga included (the Edge of Glory is a single ffs).
