Hillary seeks the foreign policy advice of Henry Kissinger? Well she sure as **** just lost my vote.

That is like asking Hitler for a good vegetarian chilli recipe, there are other vegetarians to ask, how about you pick one who isn't the living embodiment of evil.

No, she didn't seek advice from Kissinger. He complimented her on the job she had done. That's all.

She literally said during the debate tonight that Kissinger was one of many individuals she takes advice from, maybe you missed it, go back and watch a clip. Evidently this is not the first time she has said that:

"Last year, reviewing Kissinger’s World Order for The Washington Post, Clinton said that “Kissinger is a friend” and admitted that she “relied on his counsel” and that he “checked in with me regularly, sharing astute observations about foreign leaders and sending me written reports on his travels.” - The Nation, Henry Kissinger, Hillary Clinton’s Tutor in War and Peace

Hillary did a fantastic job tonight and solidified my vote tonight. I was conflicted, but not any longer. I will vote for either nominee in the general election.

I respect your choice and I ask you this with genuine curiosity, the fact that she receives advice from and is friends with Henry Kissinger doesn't bother you at all?

Clinton and Obama received "advice" from Nixon. All former Presidents and Sectetary of States have something to offer. They may have ended up being inconsistent  in many areas, but they can still be very intelligent in other areas, due to being at the forefront of activity during a certain period of time. There is still valuable information to get from those who were elected in the past. Hillary stated that Kissinger had a deep knowledge concerning the relationship in the past between China and the US and that he was a source of information in that area. A smart elected official will listen to previous elected officials, even if it is simply to learn the lessons of the past.

There is nothing wrong with Hillary Clinton receiving the advise which you just said she did not receive? Alright...

I'm not interested in arguing for the sake of arguing. If you are seriously interested in learning why Kissinger is such a grotesque creature, and is particularly a revolting choice as an adviser on foreign policy, Christopher Hitchen's profile on him is a brilliant place to start.

I know exactly why he is considered to be a problematic figure. That still doesn't mean that he can't offer invaluable knowledge from the past in certain areas.

There's only so many times you can use the experience card before be find the skeletons in your closet. Hillary doesn't have a platform, and campaign financing has made her shift stances every year.

Since you seem unable to admit that you were wrong when you originally asserted that Clinton did not take advice from Kissinger I'm going to assume you are arguing with me for the sake of arguing. This isn't the first time you have engaged me in a combative way. To save us both time and energy I'm going to pop you on my list or users to ignore.

Take a moment and consider why a progressive would vote for a candidate who cites this man as a close adviser and friend.

Have a lovely night Whispering.

Go ahead, but I will still respond to your comments when I have something to say.

Once again, I don't need a history lesson. I fully understand about Kissinger. I stand by what I said, good leaders will listen to people with knowledge. That doesn't mean that they are going to follow in their footsteps. It means they take valuable information when it is offered.

A liberal would vote for Hillary because they believe she is the best person for the job, and they don't believe that Bernie's ideas are feasible or logical. Simple as that. Just like a conservative who might vote for any of the GOP candidates. People vote for who they believe can do the best job, sometimes sticking to a certain party, sometimes not.
