Well if there was ever a time for her to be confident, now is it. Things have been amazing for her lately.

Of course, she is only human. And there is a lot of pressure. But she seems to roll with it pretty well.

Anyway, we had many conversations about this topic during the ARTOP era, when it was more apparent. She started losing it after MTN flopped. Watch her 2013 jingle bell performance and then compare it with the rest of the performances during that era, there for 1 night she somehow gained back whatever she had in her  during her TF-TFM-BTW days. IDK if she will be fierce during LG5, she ran away from the whole pop scene after ARTPOP so I'm not sure she dealt with the things that bothered her and made her insecure, but who knows maybe she did.

It depends what you consider as daring. And what confidence are.

To be honest, her move to do a jazz album are a bold leap done for someone known as a pop artist and she done it well, even. It was a gamble because it's a drastic change from one genre to another. And she could always lose both, her pop fanbase and yet being ripped apart because her Jazz album didn't work.

But she doesn't care, she's still did it. Because she knows what she is capable of, that is to me are confidence and being daring.

I must say the way how you see things are pretty juvenile tbh because being daring and confidence are not just only skin deep, not only how she wear vlothes, not only how her demeanor are in public and on stage. It's from deep within and it's contagious.

People change and so the life circumstances. In the first years of her career she was a rebel, fighter, ambitious girl who wanted to make it. She had that drive necessary to surviving in the pop industry.

but now things are different, she had some disappointments career-wise last years but also she goes through a period of happiness personally being engaged and everything.

so I think it's not a lack of confidence, it's rather that she is more distanced and doesn't care that much to be the best maybe? At this point she is established diva, so I think she's just pretty chilled and that's it. She doesn't seem to need to impress everyone anymore.
