ShockPop 7,747
Because Hillary is a smarter choice for the world. She is experienced in the role and has an ex president by her side. She may flip flop on certain issues but we all do, but when running for office you're talking a lot to undecided voters and people with lower than average brain power. You have to tell them what they want and then give them what they need.
SychosSoChic 9,995
Because we all need to make sure the world is aware of our political stance. For all we know she might not even be voting. Life ain't Hollywood for any one of us.

Voting doesn't stop just at the presedential level, but it continues on for Congress which is where it matters equally if not, more than the presidential election. I'm absolutely no expert in that field, if you say so it must be right. I was just adding my 2 cents here.

I agree with u 100%it should be private because let's say she endorsed Bernie publically and not Hilary people would say she's doesn't support a woman bah blah .but People don't realize how much better Bernie is for woman .a man can be a feminist too .aka justin Trudeau . Andy McQueen 4,484
Hillary is an awful hypocrite while Bernie has always standed for his left-wing values no matter what - he's the only hope that things really change for the better. Maybe Gaga might overthink it, since DJ White Shadow and many others support Bernie too ...

Some other girls in the business have. Including Demi Lovato, Christina, Beyonce, Kim K, Olivia Wilde, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ellen DeGeneres, Katy (ugh), Lena Dunham, and many others. It's interesting to note that a lot of pop stars are pro-Hillary when most young people seem to be pro-Bernie.

I've always liked Hilary Clinton and thought she was the best and she was for women's rights but then I learned about Bernie and how much more he is actually done for civil , gay, and woman's rights , he is so inspiring and has been from the beginning unlike Hilary who has flip flopped according to her political agenda . i feel like gaga is only supporting Hilary because of of how she's been close with the family maybe when she performed for bill Clinton or maybe because she is a woman but that's so stupid I think, cus I remember her saying in the porter interview that being a woman is second nature to her , it's second to her first being an artist first and a good human being. im not attacking her political views , just what I observed , gagas views to me match up more to that of Bernie regarding equal rights , de criminalization of marijuana and etc I'm not attacking her views just observing , and republicans please back off . atleast she not voting for trump Believe it or not, I think Gaga might actually like Hillary because she doesn't like Bernie's ideas. Although Gaga is a progressive, she is a social progressive, not a full board one. I actually think she might be somewhat of a traditionalist in some areas regarding the economy. Her parents are both about equality but I remember her father posting on twitter that he supported a republican for mayor of NYC. Gaga is a "blue collar democrat" meaning she believes in social equality but economically believes in a meritocracy....something she has repeatedly hinted at. Work ethic is extremely important to her and Bernie's ideals don't match up with that as much as Hillary's. I think her New York upbringing, experiencing 9/11might have instilled some patriotism in her that doesn't exactly come out that often from the far left. Hillary is just probably Alot closer to her ideas of the world than Bernie, and it doesn't hurt that Hillary is a woman and that Gaga is in good graces with the Clintons. Maybe Gaga appreciates some realism when it comes to politics? Maybe she wants someone who is more experienced and knowledgable? I wouldn't call Hillary "experienced" per se as an executive or leader. She has always had legislative roles that involved a lot of failed bills. Her role of secretary of state was not one to gloat about either. Kerry replaced her very quickly. I think she understands the system. But understanding the system and being the leader of the system are two very different things.
SISTERV 3,887
Lol update: I just did a little research and checked into her voting history. She is still actively a resident of New York City (interesting) and votes from that district as a democrat. This is also interesting due in part that I looked at her California address and she has not registered to vote there yet despite owning a home their. Temporary? https://voterlookup.elections.state.ny.us/VoterDetailscreen.aspx?rxtVENC=MzQxNzE2Nzc= Her mother, Cynthia, is not enrolled in a political party and is an inactive voter currently: https://voterlookup.elections.state.ny.us/VoterDetailscreen.aspx?rxtVENC=MzM3NDgyMTQ= Very weird: her father is not registered to vote at all at their home address. If anyone wants to look up their crime history, I can at my grandparents house tomorrow. (You have to pay the government for the program to see expunged stuff and my grandparents have a business so they have it for hiring purposes) I did it one time for Gaga. She had like five things and I remember one being driving without a license (don't know how she got out of that) and a public intoxication in Brooklyn. Schwerk 7,244
She grew up with Bill and Hillary, she probably developed a soft spot for her. Hillary also reminds me a bit of Cynthia. I think Gaga truly admires her and would love to see a female president. She has supported her for so long, it would be strange to turn to Bernie when Hillary is finally running for president. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
gagzus 15,851
As much as I love Bernie's beliefs and I kinda hope he wins, just because he has strong beliefs doesn't mean they will become law and I think he forgets that- he has to convince the entire government who VOTE on what becomes law, it's not a case of "oh i'm the president so now let's make homophobia illegal, racism a punishable crime" etc etc and most of the people he battles against are already established politicians who get to vote on what laws pass over the entire country. Plus in America from what I hear state government doesn't have to oblige by certain laws as they can control their own there's only a few exceptions [like the gay marriage bill for instance].
