I think she has great chances. But I wouldn't be surprised if they went with Taylor instead.

I've been thinking a lot about Taylor too! But I wonder how her business relationship with Pepsi is, I don't remember but I saw she was taking a two year break as well

I wasn't aware she had Coca-Cola's sponsorship and exclusivity contract omg 

They let her perform the National Anthem so who knows if it's still valid

Taylor is/was promoting coca cola, I heard that's the problem

+ she's the second most successful artist right now, most of the performers perform there long after their peaks

I guess large amounts of money could do anything really. I mean I'm pretty sure they look for people associated with their company, but how about the Gaga wig photoshopped on the Pepsi can (Rock in Rio thing)?

If Taylor's doing it in 2017, then Gaga will probably do it in 2018 for sure (after her critically acclaimed LG5 tour )

It's possible that Gaga's contract with Coca-Cola/Diet Coke ended since this kind of sponsorship doesn't last more than 4~7 years

But I hope the Rock & Rio and Pepsi sponsorship are real for this year!

Adele is definitely a great showgirl but I wonder how that would work to be honest, her music isn't really festive.

Also, I heard TayTay is having a two year break so we never know.

You know Adele is the one who makes ratings now, there are many examples of that, one of them is Carpool karaoke (or whatever its name is) and the other is Graham's show + she's the one to close the Grammys when she isn't even nominated. I'm not her big fan so that's pretty much I know.

However, in my opinion she's much better than the girl hanging out with some sharks dancing to pre-recorded worse than average vocals. Yes, Adele can't dance, but neither can Coldplay and Katy, right? And unlike her she can sing and she has songs people really love, she isn't the best selling artist this decade for no reason

Within the next few years, yes. I vaguely remember someone saying that the NFL felt she was too risky for the halftime show - well if they trusted her with the National Anthem, I think they'd trust her with the halftime. After her performance on Sunday, I think she's shot up the list to be a halftime performer within the next two or three years.
