First of all you have to inform yourself of what these ppl are getting through, they dont even have access on the public space...in my country..I dont know if u live in Wonderland! Ofcourse you feel defend'less when you stay at home all day and walk outside bcause have parked their bikes on the pedestrian (like in my neibourhood) or the elevator on the building you wanna go doesnt fit your wheelchair! First you have to inform yourself and then you can find it cooool to have a wheelchair emoticon option!

So fight for those issues in your country and don't fight for a meaningless issue that will not help them on a pop forum.

My grandma is disabled, probably everybody here have a disabled person in their family and friends circle, so stop being so offending and so "I know more than you" and don't try to give me a lesson.... oh and I wish I could live in Wonderland.. it would be much better

Come on and wrap that blade of grass around my hairy ass

how about you stop speaking like you know every person who uses a wheelchair would think an emoticon on a pop forum is offensive. It's not even offensive to begin with.

Emma was all her life in wheelchair. She just recently started taking steps. I think she knows more than most of us what it's like. And yet she chose the emoticon, were we suppose to tell her "feel offended Emma, why don't you feel offended?! it's offensive!"

I agree there is a problem in many countries, the way people with disabilities don't have access on public space, some old buildings don't have elevators at all, but you won't solve  that issue by removing this emoticon. It's not even related.

Ummm no, if Emma has a problem with it, it goes, but remember, Emma calls herself Cripple Bitch in the best of tongue in cheek jest, so I really doubt this is a bother to her in the slightest.

Seriously Emma has far more important things to be concerned about.

:rip: the mess

the not understanding that something has a subtext within our group beyond its obvious image

the trying to defend people (who are not defenseless) without even asking them

Unless a wheelchair bound user says they're offended, I think it's fine
