Should Gaga get herself a new management team?

A lot of you guys look at the bigger picture too much. It is the little things, the details that make a major label recording artist a success. Booking a big event is pointless if you don't have the backbone to encourage your act to release material and capitalise on the press and good will from them...and strength of material means nothing if you are out of touch and ignorant of the ways you need to communicate with consumers these days.

I agree with you on why Katy is more commercially successful. However, the problem doesn't lie with just the management. Gaga doesn't want to be manufactured. Gaga doesn't want to do cheap methods of snagging #1s. Although I wish she would at least balance or compromise her vision with commercial antics, it simply isn't her brand post-The Fame. She wants a manager that helps her with her vision, not just hits. And if the manager focuses too much on being commercial, well we all know what happened to Troy. :reductive:

Ikr! Gaga has managed almost everything herself. Her management team, unlike Katy and Taylor swift, is not as efficient. Katy and Taylor's teams both save their asses on occasions but Gaga, even being a strong independent woman, does need a better team

Sadly shes signed to a major label...so she has to make a commercial return. That would have been outlined to her in a legally binding contract in 2007 when she happily signed to Interscope... If she wants to do what she likes she should leave and go independent...so she can be a real artist and flop to her hearts content. I don't believe that anyway...I think that's the notion she presents but she is desperate to be commercially successfull again. You can tell by those green hair tweets about Katy that time she was furious she was outselling her.

Bobby didn't book all these events for her to do an experimental album either...they were PR moves to make her look better so more people will buy her new album. End of story.

I personally think that Bobby doesn't rellay care about our "necessities"... like, I mean, it's been more than 1000 days since Gaga's last pop album, he should know how much we expect something from Gaga, and imo he should have make her release something months ago.

Gaga is primarly a singer, I loved her last performances at the Oscar, at the Super Bowl, I also loved her in AHS:Hotel, but a good manager should have used all that to promote new music...

No, because whether you dislike them or not, Gaga has stated that she likes to work with ha friends.

Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

I think after gaga fired her last management, she decided to choose someone who wasn't going to push her around or tell her what to do. And it started out good, but now Gaga has too much control over her career and doesn't have an outside view to be able to put stuff into perspective, which has caused her to have this sort of disconnect with her fans. Because if you think about it when was the last time you heard her talk about her little monsters?  I don't feel like she is putting the effort into cultivating her fan-base anymore. And you could argue that it's because were in-between era's, but Katy Perry for example, talks to her fans constantly through social media, where as Gaga has only been posting stuff for us to see, not communicating with us. That's just my opinion anyway.

Very interesting thread. I think Bobby has been great for her so far I don't think it's bobbys fault Gaga isn't talking to the Fanbase more. I think that is her decision as well as his cuz Gaga wouldn't let Bobby tell her not to talk to us and Bobby wouldn't do that. If Gaga wants to talk to us she will they are just waiting for the era to start, and when she will talk to us more then we will definitely know the era has started. Also I think that since ARTPOP her team and label are really letting her take her time (obviously)  and do her thing for LG5. I really feel that lg5 will be not only very great and authentic but commercial as well cuz Gaga knows we want her back and she's coming with a smash. That's just my opinion tho. ❤️:hug::hug:
