LaLuna 12,732 Posted February 7, 2016 Share Posted February 7, 2016 With three major performances lined up, a Golden Globe win, an Oscar nomination and a new album coming out, Gaga is having an incredible year so far, probably the best of her career. Now, my question is: when you first heard of Gaga back in 2008, did you think she'd make it this far and become as big as she is? Personally, I didn't. When I first heard Just Dance, I thought it was a nice, catchy pop song but I honestly didn't think she'd have much of an impact, in fact I thought she'd be a flash in the pan.To me, she was just another blonde pop girl. Of course, it didn't take long for me to realize how wrong I was. But at the same time, if you'd told me back then that she'd be performing at the Oscars and winning acting awards someday, I probably wouldn't have believed it. So, what about you guys? And I couldn't look at her the same way until a few months later (well, probably more than that since I dreamt about TelephoneGa), plus in 2009 she had a vibe. I did not listen back in 2009 much pop music, mainly rock and metal but she had my attention anyways. But it was only after I watched some live performances, I thought she really does have talent and she can definitely sing! The fame monster album made me a fan. But to answer the guestion: when I first heard her, no. Later on, yes I thought she would have a long career, but this much acclaim nope. Though I do think she absolutely deserves it all!
