The stage does look boring with only a spinning flower...but perhaps there's fireworks, flames, lights, etc we haven't seen...

I'm not a fan but I'm giving then the benefit of the doubt...plus we have other people like Beyonce to look forward to

Sizzily

They'd be foolish not to have Gaga in the halftime show at some capacity next year.

But I really like Coldplay and it can't be worse than The Black Eyed Peas :toofunny:

imo, Coldplay is a GREAT choice for the SB. They always know how to make a huge show and have a huge, successful discography. The special guests do not disappoint as well.

The only thing I'm worried a bit is that the show will happen in broad daylight. I hope that they thought of something interesting to replace all the amazing lights and projections etc. that they usually put on with.

I hope that its Dark tomorrow so all the lights and fireworks can go beautifully with the show they have planned for us.

I think it's too early to judge, actually...

In all honesty, these pop girls' performances are usually VERY out there, so people who follow their work (us) will probably find all the other acts kinda boring, at least from a presentational perspective...but to the regular person, Coldplay's performance will be ok, maybe great (I mean, they have many strong songs to fill those 13 minutes: In my place, clocks, speed of sound, viva la vida, the scientist...)...

In short, I don't think Coldplay is a "wrong" choice...(I wish it was Rihanna on that stage, though, she has enough hits to make the 13 minutes interesting and she would benefit a lot from the exposure, since she just released an album)

THIS, she would have been great! Probablu next year. Or should we count her as a secret performer for tomorrow?

It would be nice to see her tomorrow, but she deserves a show of her own...maybe next year...if it's her, Gaga or Adele, I'm happy.

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.
