And to those defending Gaga's tribute... I honestly think she went too ambitious that it turned out a mess. I know David shouldn't received the so-called lame traditional tribute, but comparing Gaga and Lorde's... I'd prefer the non-messier one. I really like the speech and the idea of how his band and his future-fave singer performed.

I don't see your problem with it. I get it, David Bowie was an eccentric and energetic performer but that doesn't mean someone dedicating a performance to him has to include all of that. It was a sweet tribute and to me, it's more fitting than someone trying and (kind of) failing to emulate him.
