Wow, don't be so negative! I believe Gigi can be such a big role model to other trans girls and boys. She's someone who understands the LGBT struggles and encourages people to be themselves. Even if you think she's meaningless, she might be someone's idol - just like Gaga is to us!

Youtubers provide entertainment. Each youtuber has their own fanbase because their viewers like what they're watching. Shocking, right? Look at the gamer youtubers. They must be famous for no good reason, correct? Well, gaming is their passion and hobby. People who watch their videos are probably into gaming as well. I personally watch gaming videos because it's entertaining. Also, their videos may provide general information, reviews, or insight about games that the audience has never seen, heard of, or played before. On top of that, maybe even provide gaming strategies for certain games. How about beauty/make up gurus? In this day and age, many women (and men, if they're in to make up) are looking for make up tips and tutorials so they can be "on point" or "on fleek"; they want their make up to be perfect. They also provide reviews of make up and other cosmetic reviews so people who are looking for new products have an idea of what they're looking for. Vloggers. Who wants to watch people talk to a camera while they're doing whatever in their daily lives? Well, that is another form of entertainment. Maybe their audience likes the vloggger's personality, their look, or whatever it may be they're interested in. I like to watch vloggers because life can sometimes be dull and boring, so I like to see what they're up to. Maybe they're visiting a place I've never been to, and I may even be interested in traveling to that area. The videos that vloggers make allows their audience to explore the world, country, state, or city without even visiting that area, or provide a glimpse into their lives when they're not out and about. There's also unboxers and reviewers. These youtubers like to unbox new gadgets and review them. These are not pointless. As a consumer, you would want to know what you're buying, or what the best option is for different products, such as phones, computers, or other electronics. Before I go out and buy an electronic, I like to watch these videos and get and idea of what I'm buying. Should I buy an iPhone or a Samsung? Are other phone brands good? What about gaming devices, which one should I buy? Which system has better games, etc. Youtubers are absolutely NOT famous for no good reason; there's a reason why their audience loves them. They can serve as good and entertaining role models. So before you assert certain claims, you should look into the youtubing community.
