Super Bowl acts usally have an artist perform with them. Madonna had MIA and Nicki Minaj, Katy had Missy Elliot, Bruno Mars had Red Hot Chilli Peppers, ect. I love coldplay but their presence isn't as strong anymore so they def needed a big name artist. I believe having Beyonce is a good thing but having her sing new songs rather than some of her old hits from her last album is going to take the attention from them. You think Coldplay didn't give it the ok? They're on tidal too and it was probably part of a package deal that Beyoncé would get to have part of the show too. Who's to say she won't perform songs from her last and new album? She RECENTLY already performed there so for it to be a repeat of the same songs would be strange...
