Bio 23,538 Posted February 2, 2016 Share Posted February 2, 2016 The Grammys will air an “experimental tribute” for this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award recipient David Bowie performed by one of his biggest fans, Lady Gaga, JustJared.com can confirm. “We had already booked Lady Gaga on this year’s show, but when David passed — almost in a single moment — we knew we had to change direction,” said executive producer of the Grammy Awards Ken Ehrlich. “We immediately spoke and agreed that she should be the one to honor David. She’s perfect for it.” The musical director for the tribute will be Nile Rodgers, who produced David‘s 1983 album Let’s Dance.
