But, now that she's done with AHS and she's back to writing and finishing LG5 she might be drinking more but hopefully not. I'm pretty sure she smokes more when she's writing. She even stated it here in this interview She did not do cocaine during the fame or fame monster era. Vanity Fair 2010 paraphrased her wrongly to make it seem like she did which is why she got upset. hELXIG 43,042 Posted February 2, 2016 Share Posted February 2, 2016 I remember a few times she said that she credited a lot of her artistic choices to being drunk or high, and I was really worried that when she went mostly sober, and ARTPOP didn't do so well, that she would relapse. But I think she's past it now. She seems happy and more... consistent these days. She has said though in interviews that she and her friends refer to her as a "lillipad user", jumping from substance to substance. In the past she struggled with cocaine, then alcohol, then weed. But I think she's also said that she couldn't go cold turkey so has just limited herself to moderate amounts of alcohol (and maybe still weed?), but pretty sure she's off the coke. She's spoken before about it being 'the white devil' and ruining lives and expressing how badly it affected her life (using past tense) I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. And many today still consider them a religious experience .... one that can free your mind and expand your creativity. Im all for natural creativity.... but im not opposed to drug induced creativity. I remember she said she always drinks or smokes when writing. When she was rehearsing for the oscars last year, she couldnt write because she needed her voice to stay perfect. Even though weed is a lighter drug, smoking 17 joints a day certainly means a problem and it was probably really affecting her. Other than that I'm sure she's off the harder drugs but who's to say she doesent enjoy molly or an acid trip every now and then? As long as its frequency wont affect her life/career, I really don't see a problem here. She adult and pays her own bills.Girl needs to wind down sometimes!
