You called Beyoncé as pop star, meanwhile it is true to an extent, her songs mostly are R&B laden, we can support both of these women, it's fine. There was so much hype and in order to even listen to it you had no choice but to purchase it. It was an excellent way to market it. If I was Beyoncé, I would continue to release albums in the sense if she wants to remain as relevant because prior to her last album, she no doubt sold well- just not as tremendously as "Beyoncé", it was all in the marketing. but now she's going to do a "Tidal exclusive" and that ish will flop Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Beyonce's last album was different more R&B than comercial pop and I think that's the direction she is going to take from now. Gaga is more into rock pop, dance,etc...
