Beyonce was unnecessary in Coldplay's HFTW video

I feel like Beyoncé was pretty much unnecessary in Coldplay's new "Hymn for the Weekend" video. She was basically just a backdrop to the video and did not even interact with the band at all. The scenes in India looked amazing and Coldplay did a good job with the song (Beyoncé also barely sings in the song), but it seemed like Beyoncé was just there to be there and did not really contribute anything significant.

Well...you know, the song will be more popular than the usual Coldplay song because it's Beyonce's name in there

Yeah. That will pretty much be her only true contribution.

The song though, is still so so good wow.

I need a collab between Gaga and Coldplay. But a real collab.

I don't see the big deal..yes, even without her the vid would have been good. But I liked their collaboration..it wasn't "mainstream"

Is this the one where she is appropriating Desi culture? :green:

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

First of all. Beyoncé's name isnt even there.

Its not even titled "Hymn For The Weekend featuring Beyoncé".

And I'm sure many felt that Beyoncé wasn't necessary in Telephone. Lady Gaga wasn't necessary in Video Phone.

Why do you make such pointless threads honestly?

If you clean your ears you can hear Beyoncé in the song. Okay sweetie.

I'll lift you 3 inches off the ground and drag you to a meter and a half
