This caused more sales in first week and then the media who knew this called ARTPOP a flop because it didn't sell as much in the first week as born this way although it might have done if amazon had sold it for 99 cents. She gave 1mil for free for PROMO and TIDAL (less illegal downloads, more users for Tidal). Stop the hate, enjoy the music. Gaga is the 'weird girl' and no matter how many grammys she wins, there will always be this grudge against her (in the media & society) for simply not conforming to the expectations of what a woman and popstar should be. Bradley 59,088 Posted January 30, 2016 Share Posted January 30, 2016 Because as Gaga stans, we automatically read a lot of things about her, hence even if there is negativity out there surrounding Rihanna, we rarely discuss it nor do we even click into those links in the first place. The navy probably reads more articles about Anti and Rihanna more often than we do. Also I'd say people expect a lot from Lady Gaga (which is a compliment, since people know she has great abilities in music), so when Gaga does something that is not within their expectation, they get disappointed easily. I'm not sure if this is a good thing but it's like "It's Lady Gaga! She has to deliver something good. We expect from her because she is the queen of pop."
