They cheated their way to gaining an achievement that is supposed to be given for hard work, which then translates into a deep love of the art from the GP, and massive sales. You can't just do some sh*tty deal with a multi-billion dollar company, so that they put a crap load of money towards it, and then release the album for free. Might as well give the award to any artist whose album was heavily torrented/illegally downloaded. I love Riri, but this move just takes the authenticity and meaning away from the award for any artists who truly earned, and are proud of their achievements. It's legitimately free which is nice for us all 3. Now that we've heard the album, we can be at peace knowing that LG5 has one less pop artist to compete with for the awards this year... She gave them away as a gift for the fans, to get alot of people to listen to it and prevent people from downloading it illegal.
