I'm not really familiar with One Direction but it sounds like something I've heard them do (production-wise/vocal) Anyway, I think what makes the song fall flat for me is the fact that for a song about sex, there is no sexual rhythm or sensuality. He's just kind of singing without emotion and honestly I expected it to be very raw and dirty. I'll give it another listen, but that was my first take. The kid's got talent.
