Everyone knows that she's talking about butterflies and caterpillars (emojis...) Recently she made a post about "Chaos Angel" again, and supposedly it has something to do with LG5, maybe the album name Going deeper, look what i found on her instagram haha The Center Cannot Hold, Elyn R. Saks I love this passage. A provocative memoir that takes me through the depths of young psychosis and into a new understanding of my own inner chaos (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Ok, so what it has to do with butterfly effect? In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministicnonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state. The name, coined by Edward Lorenz for the effect which had been known long before, is derived from the metaphorical example of the details of a hurricane (exact time of formation, exact path taken) being influenced by minor perturbations such as the flapping of the wings of a distant butterfly several weeks earlier. It could be a reference to finding something quite angelic and precious within chaos - perhaps the end product of said chaos? The calm after the storm if you will. The restoration of GaGa's equilibrium. In fact, it could almost be a metaphor for GaGa's ARTPOP era - with that representing the chaos, and LG5 representing the angel: the overcoming of the chaos, the product of the enlightenment. Again, from this angle, we've got further links to the Butterfly Effect: the idea of small things (ARTPOP) leading to something big, something more groundbreaking (LG5).
