Countries she can physically visit and promote herslef: U.S., U.K., Canada, Japan and Brazil (to shut the "coke to Brazil" cupcakes up) and that'd bc cute. Maybe France too.

WW promo their digital deals and promo would bc nice. No YouTube promos, those get annoying fast.

It always is IMO

There are several artists who omit it, specially when they have been in the game for lots of years like Gaga is by now. They expect the songs to smash just off of their name.

Well I can speak from experience that doing small promo spots in relatively small countries can do wonders. She did a promo performance once on the Netherlands and whenever I spoke to people about her that performance almost always came up - because it showed her talent.

So yeah if I were to plan promo I'd try to do a ton of small promo spots throughout the world and perhaps a few big slots in the most important markets. I think it'd be better to spread the attention she gets over a big area rather than simply flooding the usual spots.

That's a great idea. If only there wasnt a language barrrier it would be so much easier.

You gotta have a lot of confidence

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

I think there's a high possibility that this may be her last album before a looong break so she betta promote the hell out of it just like BTW without being afraid of saturating her image. (jk because of her hip injury she may not be able to but i'd really love to see her perform like she used to, with all that energy and stage presence :flutter:)

This question may have been more relevant when she was riding the peak of her fame but right now when the GP don't even consider her to be a big name anymore  its definitely necessary...

Yes... I do think there's a thing with big artists now that there doesn't seem to be a "need" to do worldwide promo, but it makes all the difference imo. Especially now that this album could be her big comeback, she needs to let people know it's out. The fact she had a good 2015 in the eyes of us and some journalists isn't going to sell it.

I think she should just have a good few months of high profile appearances in the lead up to and the surrounding months of the release around the world and then follow it up with a great tour. ARTPOP's promo schedule was kinda weird, it was like they were making it up as they went along lol but there were obviously issues with management so hopefully now they've had all this time they can pencil in dates for the album and lead single and get the appropriate promo slots in place.

No offense meant, but quick fact check... She launched ARTPOP in Germany just a couple weeks before its release:

Goddamn she was so on point here...

"ARTPOP is about the inferno of pop art and where it is now. So now, for example, when you drink Perrier now, you see Andy Warhol on the Perrier bottle, yeah? OK, so... When Andy was making art, he was putting the soup can on the canvas. And the canvas was going into the gallery and the museums. But now, when you drink the water, you see the Andy Warhol on the soup can. So this is the reverse of Warhol. This is what I'm seeing; what I'm seeing is just something that's naturally happening --- that his art is now in control of the commercialism that he was so fascinated with. [aka - The Fame]

So, the music is a documentation of my experience gazing at this idea. But it is not, to me, not my idea. It is all of your idea. It is just a natural, the natural arc of where culture is taking this art form, pop art, and I wanted to acknowledge it and create an album that showed its creative process. And I did this because I want you to know that your art is powerful. Your talents are powerful. And you, too, one day could own this commercial mountain with your art."
