Its funny because I'm pretty sure a lot of Americans have a bible and a set of guns in their home but aren't considered terrorists.

False comparison. See this is what I'm talking about :rip:

Radical Christianity has not caused terrorist attacks around the world in recent years.

Obviously people won't connect a Bible and a gun with terrorism.

Oh, and before you come at me with examples of Christians committing attacks, I am aware of them. However, think about the bigger picture. As an organization such as ISIS, no Christian group has caused the same WW damage as Radical Islamic groups.

It's all about perception. The false comparisons are irrelevant.

You'd never call a Jew with a Torah and a gun a terrorist either.

The thing with people having guns under their beds is just as worrying tbh

You're letting republican rhetorics affect you. I'd recommend reading this

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/02/06/there-s-no-such-thing-as-radical-islam-there-are-only-terrorists-who-are-muslim.html

There are extremists with guns in all religions. Just because the media chooses to give them different names, it doesn't mean that they are not. If that Jew with Torah and guns has intention to kill people he is a terrorist too. What's the difference?

also don't forget this

The reason why people won't connect Bible with terrorism is because media never focuses on that detail when it comes to white mass shooters. They don't go to their homes and take pictures of all the books, everything they own etc. like they did in California shooting.

And even in this case, mentioning a book just brought assumptions and accusations, and it turned out to be false alarm.

I know but I'm just shocked at some people here that don't realize that making these connections with a Qu'ran + guns + in France is NOT some type of discrimination.

Recent events have an impact on people's psyche.

The main red flag was that this was in France, snd it was at a resort area that would definitely be seen as a soft target. Sadly, if it was in the US, someone carrying this type of firepower in their luggage wouldn't automatically cause alarm. We usually don't hear of people carrying around a couple of guns "for protection" in France. Aren't guns and ammo difficult to get in France? It isn't like the US, where you can go down to your local Walmart or pawn shop after work and pick up a could of guns. Lol

Exactly! This was a false alarm anyway, but I don't get the whole shock of some regarding the assumptions made...
