Music seems to be moving in the direction of streaming and I don't think there is much that can be done to stop that, but if an artist decides they don't want their music on a particular format then that's their choice. CD only and release it simultaneously on the same day, regardless the time zones, no countries that get it early or later. Minimize the holes for illegal downloads as much as possible. This is not possible, it depends on the country, the time zone and the store.
