( C2C/Side Projects don't apply) For me the best is... A lot of people will find this overrated but there's just something magical about this video. Sure, there are definitely some more high brow looking Gaga videos, but this one has this iconic-ness about it that people will always recognize (next to Poker Face). I don't think I have ever seen a video with this much creativity energy be executed so well. It's the reason why I fell in love with her. A+++++ And the worst...well.... I know i'm gonna receive some backlash for this, but the only impressive aspect of this video were the car scenes on the roof. Other than that, the imagery is really amateur-ish/in-consistent and the editing is REALLY choppy and awkward. Looking back, that opening monologue scene is literally what struck panic in me for AHS. I ADORE the concept SO MUCH that it ACHES for me to see it executed so poorly. This could have been amazing, but honestly it just fell under the bar for me. What are yours? It inspires me on a daily basis, any of the lines from that prelude monologue are better than most music videos nowadays. There was an ebb and flow an excitement and a worry about her not making it, it was so perfectly biographical and chunky just like real life. Least Fave: Just Dance By no means do I hate the video, its just underwhelming now that I have seen all of her videography. Its literally just a house party. No metaphors no meanings. Nothing. However, to ignore how PERFECT it is for the song and for an introduction to an iconic career. Every time I re-watch it, I feel like I'm back in 2008 right when she was on the cusp of global super stardom. Her strutting down the hallway in the beginning gets me every time.
