TBH this is the first fan artwork I've seen that actually looks like something she might do. I don't like the title though. I still think it will be "funk the punk". If we must insist on the whole butterfly idea I would go with "Monarch" which is the name of a breed of butterfly. And also it would make madonna stans furious because it would be basically her assuming the role of queen of pop music.

i actually like the name 'metamorphosis' more than 'monarch, because it represents how she's grown as an artist and how free she is now.

yeah, but it's kind of obvious and corny, and very very literal. Her album titles are never that transparent.

i agree with you but i really hope she doesn't name her album 'monarch'. It's because the name sounds so incomplete and bland for an album. It would suit better as the name of a song.

I thought so too at first. But ever since Elton said he hopes her new album will be somewhat like Carole King's Tapestry I started to appreciate these shorter less explanative names, because I simply fell in love with "Tapestry".
