If you were in with the drag community you'd hear lacefront all the time...lmao.

Drag is something you're either into or you're not... Most people aren't, obviously it is an uncommon word in most people's lives.

My friend wears lace front wigs from time to time and she calls them "lace fronts". A lot of drag queens refer to their wigs as "lace fronts" as well. It's not an uncommon word used outside.

It certainly isn't a commonly known word in the world outside of GGD, now is if an obsession for females or people out in the real world. GGD talks about lacefronts and lipstick more than a college full of sorority girls. Lol

Okay. I'm just gonna throw this out there:

Gaga has been wearing wigs almost every single day or her life for about 7 years.

I would not be surprised if at this point she is sick of sitting down and having a hot ass cap put on her head, with ane even hotter wig over top, and having lace glued to her skin, as well as all the other makeup on top.

How long do all of you take to get ready in the mornings? How much effort do you put in? Would you wear a hot cap on your head to every event, with an even hotter wig on top, with glue on your forehead? Not being able to touch your 'hair'.

Maybe she did just touch it. Maybe before coming out on stage she walked into the wall and pull it back. Maybe she forgot it was a wig, mindlessly ran her hands through it, and moved it.

Also, I get the feeling she's sick of wigs by this point. She started revealing (nervously too...) her real hair during the ARTPOP ear, and was wearing her real hair a lot last year

Not to mention I think her natural hair line is receeding because of all that glue and pulling of hairs.

Lacefronts are not a comfortable or easy thing to wear every single day of your life.

I don't want her to stop wearing wigs either, I don't want her to loose the fantasy. Just as much as all of you I want her to look flawless, and pull off the illusion of different hair and outfits and expressions of her self. I really want her to keep wearing wigs, and extravagant clothing, and to be showing off how 'born this way' she is, and keeping the fantasy alive of a human chameleon.

But unfortunately, the fact of the matter is, as much as we all want her to be this fantastical alien entity that she pulled off so well during the BTW era, she  is really only human. A human being who gets tired.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

her hairline has been pretty consistent for at least 4 years now. You can see that freddy cut the lace in a rush when you look at how uneven it is.(longer pieces and shorter pieces). Also, it looks like the wig wasn't put on properly. She's had some bad wigs, but I can't remember anyone where one side of the wig is so far back  that her natural hair pokes through in that way. It's normal to leave some of it out, but that doesn't really look intentional to me. I'd say she was in a rush and that's all. Also, she doesn't even have to use glue. She can use a glueless lacefront, which is most likely what she does from time to time.

true to an extent but at the same time lady gaga is a celebrity. If she was a random pedestrian on the street then I would think it's odd that people examine her appearance. Celebrities are over analyzed because they are celebrities. People that talk about lady gaga's lacefront wigs, lips, fillers, etc are no different than people that defend her as if she pays their bills.

Yeah, celebrities are over analyzed,  but people in the real world don't obsess over lacefronts, eyebrows and lipstick color. Strange obsessions here.

Fillers or Botox? Most people notice this, at extremes. People will notice a knock out dress or if someone's boobs are all of a sudden three times bigger or hanging out of their dress. Lipstick color! Never...unless it's something completely bizarre.

Honestly I wouldn't call a lot of threads like this "obsessed". Some members are over excessive with the threads and constant bickering about the same topic to the point where they sound like broken records but a lot of these comments about her face or lip stick color are nonchalant and or the person is just bored. For myself I sometimes say I like a certain shade of lipstick on Lady Gaga because I'm into makeup and have my cosmetology license but that doesn't make me any better than a person who doesn't and finds these topics interesting. I certainly wouldn't patronize a person obsessing over a celebrity's face as if they have no life and I'm better than them because then I would be delusional and just make their self esteem lower which will not make me feel better. There are many people that discuss her weight on this forum which is something I don't care to discuss because I like her any weight but I don't act as if they are obsessed with her weight because many people in the "REAL WORLD" are obsessed with many celebrities weights and if you ask me...being obsessed with a certain lipstick color is miles better and less shallow than "real people" being obsessed with the celebrity's weight, drug history, meltdown, etc.

Nah, it's to the point of obsession. Bizarre.

Many people in the real world would find it bizarre to even defend a celebrity that doesn't care or pay any of your bills over a topic of botox or lipstick let's be real Lol.

Nah, most people think living your life worrying about lipstick on done celebrity is strange as hell. That's a typical reaction to a bizarre obsession.

Don't contradict yourself. You know how many people would find you strange as hell to even care to complain about such a topic as if you'll lose sleep over it?. They would tell you "Who really cares? Why bother? You're complaining about a fan base of a woman who doesn't care about you?"
