It's a mistake to think he's only resonating with young white liberals. The current growth trends for both the African American and Latino demographics have been shifting rapidly, and tend to be one of the last dramatic shifts for a successful campaign. As more and more details of his current and historical efforts for both communities come to light, he gains more and more support.

 

He was arrested, and has a criminal record, for non-violent peaceful protests for fighting against desegregated schools and dormitories in the 60's.

This man has been fighting for ALL people for 3 times my lifetime.

Ahora Latino Journal, El Reportero and Tú Revista Latina announced their support for Sanders on Wednesday, along with a variety of individual leaders in the community.

There is a long road ahead, but if ANY one candidate currently has momentum, and for good reason, It's Bernie Sanders.
