She is actually now way more popular and in a better place than what she was in late 2012 and early 2013 (before the ARTPOP era).People weren't rooting for that era even before the lead was released.. But with Gaga its a whole other story. Gaga will do well, but you cant compare Adeles album with Gagz yet come album, you just cant because obvi. I'm not gonna be the one having a meltdown when the first week sales roll in. You have to look at the state of the music industry and how much other artists are selling. Well I see Adele selling 15m (and she will definitely end up selling more than 20m) with an album that is not as good as what Gaga usually makes.. I see Taylor Swift selling 10m... And I see Ed Sheeran selling 7m... Gaga has the power to make such sales imo.. Obviously we should not expect her to sell like 700k the first week or sell 10m overall. Well liking Gaga now is a lot cooler than what it was in 2012.. Every article about her in 2012 was about how she doesn't matter anymore,how she is fat etc... Now actually a lot more people like her.. She is never going to achieve her early success again (selling 15m or more).But she can easily sell 4-5m when with ARTPOP aka the disaster era she sold 2,5m.
