Me too. If Diane doesn't say a word then I guess we know how she really feels about it. If she doesn't speak out I actually want Gaga to not show up to the Oscars.

If Diane doesn't say anything, it's not necessarily because she's accepting or admitting what Linda ranted about on Twitter.  That would just mean Diane isn't giving in to Linda's trolling and is trying to quell the incendiary comments by not adding fuel to the fire.

If Diane drags Linda or corrects her, that might add more unwanted attention to Gaga because who knows with what Perry could fire back.  IMO, it's best if it's just left alone.  What do you think Bad Monster Kid?

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

Because there will always be jealous people when Gaga will rise...

Not at all-it's a big deal because this is a matter of who actually created the work. Often a singer will recreate a melody while singing a song. If Gaga did this or even changed one word she islegally a song writer on the song. It may not be right but that is how it works.

True. The only downside to this is that Gaga is getting more coverage over this little twitter debacle than Dianne and I feel like its gonna tarnish her a bit.

Yeah it's kinda unfair but that's because she's a pop star and even though she's been receiving positive acclaim, a lot of people still view her as manufactured blonde pop star bimbo so they will do everything to scrutinize and criticize her vulgarly.

Wow, I didn't know. :(

Now I wish that both Gaga and Linda had sung it.

That would have been awesome honestly. Hearing two people expressing their pain would have made the ballad more powerful and intense.

To me Linda is definitely pressed... I mean she's acting like Gaga did nothing at all (or just put her voice)

The song is like it is because Diane wrote it, because she reworked it with Gaga once she was implied in it and because Gaga produced it like this. It's all a team work. Both Diane and Gaga deserve that nomination. And yeah to me Linda Perry is bitter (maybe because she has no nomination)...

If Gaga is notarized as a co-writer (which she is), and Diane corroborates that Gaga had a hand in shaping the song as we know it now (which she has, many times), then Linda should have minded her business and not added her uncalled-for opinion on the matter.

She admits she is ruffling feathers-did you read this part??

“I love Gaga so much respect and love this song that has nothing to do with anything. Why did Gaga get credit? Maybe because ... Diane wanted to ensure her support in promoting the song. Gaga is a very smart business women she knew a song written by Diane Warren … would be up for an Oscar …” Perry added, before claiming she means no disrespect and is simply “stating the truth.”

“What good is Twitter if you can’t ruffle some feathers once in a while,” she concluded.

It would make sense...I've seen a lot of people asking why she apparently knows so much about the writing process. She just sounds really bitter and salty that (for whatever reason) she didn't end up singing the song and it's getting all this attention...
