It was an interesting read :)

I don't know him personally and have never interacted with him ever so I can't speak from experience, but the stories make me cautious, plus the "that's your issue" video really driving that home :emma: I guess I'm glad that he's having a good time and rising and fulfilling his dreams, I just hope it's not at the expense of other people's experiences of Gaga

I hope one day he will wake up and realise there is more to life than having 10,000 followers on Instagram. Even Gaga says people need to realise this so I hope for his sake he does. He talks a lot about his 'following' so...

Yeah, including tried to jump the queue at Gaga concert, I am sure. But that's his issue. :green:

This is what I was talking about in my other post, I was sitting a couple people behind these guys in line.

Not only did he cut, but his little entourage of other Twitter famous super fans did too. Probably 6 of them or so.

After entering the queue, he continued with this diva attitude, insulting other fans and creating a spectacle of himself.

At a Gaga show, the last thing you want to see is a fan acting elitist and so rude to other fans, just because he thinks he's more important or something. They deserve to be there just as much as he does. If not even more, since they actually waited 10+ hours in line while he was sleeping in bed, shopping, and getting Starbucks with his little crew. Then bragging about it, to make matters even worse. :awkney:

*rant about annoying Twitter/IG-famous Little Monsters*  I don't know how to do spoilers on mobile.. sry *to skip this, scroll to the next bold line*

For a better mental picture of how Maikeeb acted that day, here's a quick example. Maikeeb sees someone he knows standing a couple people away from him through the crowd and he yells out "HEY BITCH!" like friends often do to greet each other. But when a person in front of him turns around, reacting to his yelling, he screams "Ew bitch, not you. I don't know you!" And then pulls his friend through them to talk and have a little photo shoot together. What a nasty way to respond to a stranger turning around to look at you after you yelled out from behind them.  No need to try and embarrass her and make her feel like she's worthless because you screamed and she looked.

This is how these Instagram/Twitter famous "superfans" act. Not trying to bring anyone else into this but two brunette girls in particular, one from Chicago and one from Pittsburgh, are both friends with Maikeeb and both share this elitist attitude. They've referred to fans who don't have the thousands of followers they have or who haven't met Gaga as "randoms" and "peasants." They even stooped so low as to give these "randoms" fake info about where Gaga was going to be, so they could go to the real location without the "peasants" taking Gaga's focus away from them.

However, I'm pretty sure Gaga knows about the Pittsburgh girl's attitude towards the rest of the fans because she shaded TF out of her at Radio City. After meeting Gaga dozens of times, this girl was calling Gaga her "friend" on IG and people thought she was as close to Gaga as Marc (@MarcMonster) is. Much to her surprise, Gaga greeted her with a simple "Nice to meet you" and walked along. Shade that shady heaux, Gagz. However the girl from Chicago remains a famous little monster, Gaga even tweeted about her. She should look into fans' previous tweets before giving them this attention. It's actually kind of pathetic to see these kids act so rude and "cool" when they're on display in line, but when they see and talk to Gaga in person they become butt-kissing angels and are just as starstruck as us "regular" fans.

Didn't mean to turn this into a rant against these kind of fans but it's disheartening to see Gaga give them this recognition on Twitter and Instagram, which only makes their egos bigger.

To me, you can't really be a true fan of Gaga if you can't even respect her other fans. All the while, undermining the work she's done to promote a kinder, bully-free community.

It'd be nice if they actually helped Gaga's cause; by being respectful and nice, instead of trying to create some exclusive group of superfans that will tear down anyone they deem "beneath" their level.

Hopefully Gaga will see the truth about some of these kids and drop them in favor of the gracious, respectful fans, like Emma & Helen Green. :flutter:

Omg this post is so long, my apologies :air:

I always feel queasy at the fact that gaga probably knows about all of this. There's no way she hasn't, it's been going on for 4+ years. If I ever meet her candidly I'd be glad to bring this up, kindly. It just makes me sick. And it's not that people are hopping on a hate train-- this thread is full of people with primary sources about their encounters with this disgusting "fan". Sometimes I question either Gaga's morals, or her obliviousness. And not that any of that is truly her fault, but it just makes you uncomfortable especially knowing what she stands with and fights till she bleeds for.

"...which great to a casual friendship of party-going and hangouts"

I'm not hating or trying to but... is that part true? Does he really go out party with Gagz? :emma:

All I know is he went with her to after party at a gay club after the Wang show. Marc was there too, as was Airik I believe. I think Marc is her friend, the others just tag along sometimes, some more often than others.

Fact is she knows and likes him, which is great for him and I love seeing him going into styling and focussing on a carreer. I also hope it will teach him some manners because the way he and his friends acted at Roseland was disrespectful and very immature.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

I'll never, ever forget my interaction with him....

ME: Hey, You're Maikeeb, right?

MAIKEEB: Oh my god, YES! Do you want a picture with me?

ME: Oh, um... well... no, not really.

In hindsight, I would have been a bit more smug, give him a taste of his medicine. But I had only seen him in pictures at that point (2013) and wasn't aware that he was so... special. :emma:
