Did you know that Miley's song "Party in the U.S.A." was co-written by Jessie J and it was originally indented for Jessie J's debut album?

From Wikipedia-

The song was written and produced by Dr. Luke, with additional songwriting provided by Jessie J and Claude Kelly. "Party in the U.S.A." was originally intended for Jessie J, but after deciding it was not edgy enough for her, they passed it to Cyrus and adjusted the lyrics to fit her persona. She explained, "And I remember thinking this song is amazing, but I don't know if it's me 110 percent, you know. You can kind of feel it."

In order to please audiences, Dr. Luke, Kelly and Jessie J fixated on composing a fun, upbeat song that narrated reflections of Cyrus' personality. "They feel they're buying into a great experience but also buying into the artist", Kelly said of the song's fans. To write his contributions to the song, Kelly said he desired to mimic Cyrus' songwriting: "It’s the same song from a different point of view, you just have to find that unique perspective."

Here's a snippet of Jessie J's version-

I just found out about it and I want a full version so bad :madge:

I remember reading she made more money out of it than out of any of her songs :flop:

Of course that's not true :rip:

She only said in multiple interviews when asked about this song is that it payed her royalties because of the songwriting obviously and that she "lived" off of that money for years before her songs and albums came out...

"Madonna also worked with Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk, as she wanted to explore the British club musical scene, where genres such as dub had been growing in popularity."

Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk accepted the offer to write a track for Madonna's album, and wrote a song initially named "Let's Get Unconscious".Once the song demo had been finished, Hooper and Marius De Vries rearranged the track and the final version was called "Bedtime Story", which became the album's third single.

Madonna even invited Björk, who wrote the track, to feature in the performance; however, the singer turned it down.

yeah, and she also sampled Aaliyah's song

"Inside of Me" samples "Back and Forth" by Aaliyah

I know. BS was erotic and experimental, I didn't mean the Erotica album.
