You're talking in a defensive sense, but on the other hand, a large amount of people on this forum engages in the practice of calling other artists (and by that I mean Gaga's competition) "basic", "talentless", "flops",... The implication of course is that liking those artists is basically a confession of being tasteless. I don't really see you saying anything about that side of the problem. I mean, I can imagine you don't like to see "Björk vs. Lady Gaga" threads but on the other hand, I doubt you would've made this thread in response to one of Enigma's 100 "Is Gaga the most talented artist of our generation?" or "Is Katy talented?" threads etc. I don't see anything positive changing if this fanbase stops charging other artists too, when expecting people to respect their appreciation of Gaga. Good Meets Bad 55 Posted January 15, 2016 Author Share Posted January 15, 2016 IMO who cares who sings best who cares who is a legend or no who cares about not winning Grammys golden globes no one we're just her to enjoy the music itself cause other fan bases have their opinions & so do we but I like all music genres I'm pretty sure the artist doesn't care about the award but I'm sure they would like to win but winning doesn't always come from awards it's about how the music sales & sound, will the fans love it, but tbh y'all are actually becoming the critics she could've done better try again but not everybody thinks like y'all do Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

It only becomes an issue when you start insulting other people and making rude comments. Fan bases are so passionate about their artists that they forget what being an artist means. Being an artist doesn't mean having the best music, the best fans, or the most awards. Being an artist means to love and create art for yourself.
