ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

Even If she did than this is something that has been going on forever. Why now the problem? Just because it's Gaga? Such bullshit.

its from five years ago when sony was accused of selling poorly received movies to voters that eventually found themselves winning or being nominated for golden globes

theres no real evidence, but not only is this apparently standard industry practice but she also won over far more acclaimed performances by other stars. u just have to connect a few dots. not trying to shade but its possible her management did the same thing sony did.

i like it when u treat me mean it turns my mood from black to blue

The Golden Globes is a joke, absolutely. The people who decide who wins are just a bunch of nobodies, basically. Read this for a good description:

http://www.thestar.com/entertainment/movies/2010/01/16/howell_the_powerful_nobodies_behind_the_golden_globes.html

Again: Madonna winning over Glenn Close and Frances McDormand for a much bigger category is proof enough that this show cares more about buzz etc. than about rewarding quality. But if you know that, then there really is no problem, just like the above article says. It's still a win win for the show and Gaga that she won and she can use this as a stepping stone for more acting opportunities. I see it like that.

can we stop posting this **** I mean some sites can have literately anyone write these articles and this is one of the most obvious one's it doesn't even try to hide it

y'all are just feeding these lies and giving them more opportunities to be picked up by major publications that will then use THIS article as a source

That's how the whole "INTERSCOPE LOST $20 MILLION BC OF ARTPOP' lie got picked up

We went through the whole Angle Cheng thing already don't let it happen again

you don't have to connect anything. If she won for anything other than talent it's for the buzz and press and not cause someone paid it

Just so you guys know.... have you guys ever heard of "Awards campaign"? Getting an award requires work. Sadly, the way Hollywood's working, you're not gonna be awarded by standing by with your arms crossed. That's one of the main reasons why Leo DiCaprio never won the Oscar: because he doesn't give a **** and doesn't campaign. Nominees who wanna win are pushed by the production companies to do many interviews, be very visible in the media, go to dinners, giving gifts etc. Why do you guys think Diane Warren and Gaga are so active talking about TIHTY atm? I mean, open your eyes.

I'm not saying that all the awards are "bought" and that Gaga didn't earn her Golden Globe, I think quite the contrary. But that's still the reality of the business. It goes beyond simple talent - haven't you ever wondered why the same films are always nominated everywhere, and why many other excellent films and performances remain in the shadows? Or why most of the movies that get nominations conveniently come out at the end of the year, getting the most media coverage during awards season? Getting nominated, and getting an award, is all a matter of strategy. Don't be delusional.
