That isn't really a good argument because a song's theme has nothing to do with its quality. And, people lose their loved ones every day too.

Remember that the academy doesn't give a flying f*** about popularity, so SYA isn't really that likely to win. They are more likely to award it to a song that was written to combat a major social issue, aka TIHTY.

Again, saying Gaga didn't necessarily deserve the award is not negativity. It just means most people thought another nominee performed better than Gaga. That is not saying Gaga sucked, just that it was a surprise she won. No one is trying to take her win away, and everyone is happy that she won, it was just unexpected. /end.

I wasn't even gonna use that tweet at all. If you actually read the thread, you would have noticed I was telling people that that wasn't her tweeting. 

 

And did you watch the video at all? Because the title of the thread is super misleading and makes her sound harsher than she actually was. She had nothing bad to say about Gaga. She praised her look and her performance, she only called herself "a little bit salty" because she didn't think she would win. The only shade she threw was at Taylor when she said that he probably felt salty because Gaga won a GG before him.

That is not true lmao.

I can recall only one incident where someone was really spreading around negativity for the sake of it and that was solved perfectly just by talking it out.

The overwhelming majority is ecstatic about the win, an absolute minority is simply stating that either other actresses did a better job (Mast's pov) or that we should remember that it's the Golden Globes and that this win does not necessarily reflect talent, no matter how great her win is (my pov).

I've been called out a couple of times for showing my fake fan colors on this issue but I only have to remind them that I've always referred to Madonna's win in 1997 to show that I just don't think highly of the Globes in general, after which my attackers flee the scene and somehow never get back to me. Perfect example of people like you exploding things beyond proportion for no reason.
