It was always like this but not nearly at the levels we're currently seeing these days. With the rise of social media, trolling and dragging became the thing and it seems to be going nowhere any time soon. For that very reason, I've chosen not to visit ATRL, Tumblr or any other fan site because it's nothing but a cesspool of trolls who are jealous of the most successful artist. Tbh, I ignore the trolls. Why give in to their drama and let them drag you down? I have better things to do with my time like visiting GGD or enjoying Gaga's music, videos and interviews. Some of them are not even normally 'stanning' anymore, they've gone into another level of trolling and that's not even funny I've been to ATRL for a few times to check on some Gaga threads and the first page is mostly filled with batshit insane _____(insert artist name here) stans dragging Gaga down with their small delusional minds and so-called 'facts'(some even made joke Gaga's lupus, face, body, not to mention the usual 'payola1!!one1', 'ha car33r is over1!!one!1', etc..
