Even if you don't care for what she does you can at least see the girl gives it her all and has some pipes. Like I don't care for Katy or Azealia Banks but they're talented and made some bops. I think the whole fan base culture that these platforms have created is toxic and stands in the way of enjoying music. I don't really want to use these platforms anymore TBH. They just jump fences to the new hottest thing and trash last year's superstar. If LG is back on top the same thing will happen. LG will be the new savior of humanity and ______(less popular singer here) will be the root of all problems with humanity. They aren't threatened by her, they just don't like her at the moment. Chicka 2,385 Posted January 13, 2016 Share Posted January 13, 2016 Gagadaily and Tumblr are really the only places I use for fan stuff, and even these two can be pretty negative and ruin the fun sometimes. I just know that being a fan before I participated in the whole community online of fans was a lot more carefree and enjoyable. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy seeing and connecting with other fans, but at times it can wear me out. They just like the attention and power that they feel when they have created drama and are getting a lot of response. They might not even care for music much at all. It's a nonsense since every person has a different taste based on each one's experience in life. That's what music is about, INM. I really dislike to read comments about Gaga because there are people who discredit her for everything she does or everything she gets. Like with Woman Of The Year award. I read many comments from people saying she paid Billboard to recieve it. And the same with the GG. I mean, I was kind of shocked when I saw she won, because she's very new at acting. But I'm not going to discredit her and make up a story about how she paid someone to get the award. It's ridiculous. I don't know why Gaga is always a target to these trolls and haters. People worry about chart positions and sales and need to compare them with this person and that person and are pissed when their fave loses this award or is pressed when someone else wins another. I just need to remind myself that many people here and other places are very young. I remember being 13/14 and thinking in a similar way. I was a depressed, closeted kid who was bullied for being gay and I didn't think I would be able to live out my fantasy life. I felt disillusioned by the world. I never actually hated another artist but I projected my fantasies onto Gaga and wanted her to win everything and be at the top of the charts always. As I got older, I matured and was happier in my life that became less important. It's less stressful and it's enjoyable to be a fan nowadays. gagzus 15,831 Posted January 13, 2016 Share Posted January 13, 2016 stan culture went downhill when troll culture went up in mid 2012, remember that phase on twitter where literally almost every stan account was a troll account practically... most of it died out in 2013 but a lotta them stay using the same recycled bullshit, but i ain't worried, gaga's got a 230m$ networth and can outsing any of the contemporary girlies (even adele) and she doesn't have anything to prove tbh- the only thing i need her to prove to me is she can still make bops after taking a long break from making them.
