People is legit in that it's the main magazine celebs run to when they want to break some news or want to use a separate entity to be their PR mouthpieces. Nothing People publishes is unconfirmed by their camps, unlike its rival US Weekly, which also acts as a mouthpiece, but will still publish gossip they hear without celeb/PR approval (People is Billboard to US Weekly's HDD). Those are the only two gossip mags that are worth paying attention to. RadarOnline (which posted that story about Taylor confronting Leo) is notorious for its inaccurate reporting and straight up fiction. They've been making up stories about Britney Spears for years, and its most recent claim is that Bey and Jay have split. Anything you see from there is usually just clickbait crap.
